It is with great pride and enthusiasm that I welcome you to Velammal Global School, an IB Continuum school in the making that is part of the esteemed Velammal Group of Institutions. Velammal is a candidate school for IBPYP, MYP, DP and CP.* This new venture represents a significant milestone in our unwavering commitment to providing world-class education and nurturing global citizens prepared to face the challenges of the future.
Our journey began in 1986 with a humble start – a small school, a handful of students, and a dedicated team of teachers. Today, the Velammal Group has evolved into a prominent educational establishment, serving a large number of students and employing thousands of talented educators across various esteemed institutions, including K-12 schools, a medical college, and engineering colleges.
Throughout this remarkable growth, our mission has remained steadfast: to innovate our teaching and learning practices to meet the highest global standards. The Velammal Group has consistently earned accolades for its principled approach and esteemed standing within the educational community.
With the establishment of Velammal Global School, we are taking a significant step forward in our quest for excellence. By offering the prestigious International Baccalaureate (IB) continuum of education, we aim to provide our students with a transformative learning experience, fostering global-mindedness, holistic development, and the necessary skills and knowledge to thrive in an increasingly interconnected world.

Access to academic buildings is by reservation only. The four buildings below will be open Monday - Friday and closed on the weekends from September 15th through December 25th.
Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.,

The M98, M101, M102, and M103 busses go south on Lexington Avenue and north on 3rd Avenue.
Subway:
The 6 train stops directly under the College at the 68th Street station. Alternatively, you can take the F train to the East 63rd Street and Lexington Avenue stop. After exiting the station, walk north on Lexington Avenue to East 68th Street.
