VISON 2026 is open to schools across India. Students competing must fall under the Under 14 or Under 17 categories (Boys & Girls). Schools can register teams, and individual athletes can also register directly.
Participants must complete the online registration form and make payment through the secure payment gateway. Once payment is successful, a unique Registration ID will be generated and confirmation will be sent via email and WhatsApp.
VISON 2026 is the Velammal Inter-School Open National Sports Meet hosted by Velammal Global School, Madurai. The event brings together school athletes from across India to compete in multiple sporting disciplines in a professionally organized national-level tournament environment that promotes sportsmanship, competition, and student development.
The main tournament will be conducted from *21 to 25 April 2026* at Velammal Global School in Madurai. However, due to scheduling requirements, *cricket matches will begin earlier from 13 April 2026*.
Students who are *bonafide school students studying in Class 6 and above* and who meet the age eligibility requirements are allowed to participate in VISON 2026. Schools must certify the eligibility of their participating students before submitting the official entry forms.
The tournament is organized under two main age categories: *Under 14 and Under 17*. Events are conducted separately for boys and girls depending on the sport, ensuring fair and competitive participation across age groups.
The championship features a wide range of sporting disciplines including *Track & Field, Badminton, Chess, Football, Swimming, Table Tennis, Tennis, Cricket (T20), Squash, Volleyball, and Basketball*. These events provide opportunities for both individual athletes and team-based competitions.
The registration fees are *₹100 per participant for individual events* and *₹1000 per team for team events*. These fees help cover tournament administration and participation processes.
VISON 2026 offers attractive cash prizes and trophies. In individual events, the *winner receives ₹10,000, the runner-up ₹7,000, and the second runner-up ₹5,000. For team events, the **winning team receives ₹50,000 and the runner-up team receives ₹30,000. In addition, an **Overall Best School Trophy* will be awarded to the top-performing school in the championship.
Participants must submit several documents including an *eligibility certificate issued by their school, a birth certificate issued by a government authority, the previous year’s final examination mark sheet, and passport-size photographs with the participant’s signature*. These documents help verify eligibility and maintain fairness in the tournament.
Yes. Students are allowed to *participate in multiple events* provided they meet the eligibility requirements and their event schedules do not clash with one another.
Participating schools or teams are responsible for arranging and covering the costs of *travel, team kits, uniforms, and other expenses during travel and participation in the tournament*.
No. Once the *official entry form has been confirmed and submitted*, changes cannot be made. Schools and participants are therefore advised to verify all details carefully before final submission.
If any information such as *age, name, or eligibility details is found to be incorrect during verification*, the concerned player or even the entire team may be disqualified from the tournament as per the rules of the championship.
Yes. Participants are allowed to register for multiple sports events in VISON 2026, provided they meet the eligibility criteria for the respective category and their event schedules do not overlap. Students are encouraged to participate in more than one discipline if they are trained in multiple sports, allowing them to showcase their abilities across different competitions during the tournament.
