The Career-related Programme (IBCP)
The International Baccalaureate® (IB) Career-related Programme (CP) is a framework of international education that incorporates the vision and educational principles of the IB into a unique programme specifically developed for students who wish to engage in career-related learning.
At Velammal Global School (VGS), the International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme (IBCP) offers students aged 16 to 19 a unique pathway that blends academic excellence with career-focused learning. Our students pursue Business Administration as their Career-related Study (CRS) through the World Academy of Career Programmes (WACP), gaining practical insights into business, management, and entrepreneurship. Alongside, they engage in at least two IB Diploma Programme courses and core components such as the reflective project, community engagement, personal and professional skills, and language and cultural studies. This well-rounded approach not only builds industry-relevant knowledge but also nurtures international mindedness, ethical reasoning, and lifelong learning.
At VGS, the CP empowers learners to graduate with both professional readiness and the confidence to thrive in higher education and global careers.
